A traditional ice axe with an over-molded ergonomic head, ideal for backcountry trekking as well as climbing mountain terrain. The ergonomic shape insulates the alpinist's hand from the cold head of the axe. The one-piece head and pick anchor positively on soft terrain and allow for smooth self-arrests.
